Welcome to "Learning in the Past." This blog contains historical information studied at the 8th grade level in Alabama. The title, "Learning in the Past," suggests that we not only hope to learn about the past, but we also hope to learn from the past (plus, some other blog names were already taken). Islamic Prayer
Part of being a Muslim, a follower of Islam, means accepting the Five Pillars of Islam. One of these five pillars is that Muslims must pray five times a day. Below is a video of a Muslim woman performing her morning ritual prayer and some of her views on Islam and humanity.
